New Pokémon TCG Release: Mega Evolution Brave & Symphonia

Pokémon Trainers, get ready! The Mega Evolution era is officially making a comeback in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, with two powerful expansion packs — Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia — launching on August 1, 2025 in Japan. A Premium Trainer Box will also drop the same day, offering an all-in-one bundle for collectors and competitive players.

📌 Traditional Chinese versions are expected to release in Taiwan around mid-August.

 What’s New in the Mega Evolution Series?

This release reintroduces the fan-favorite Mega Evolution ex mechanic, updated for the Scarlet & Violet block. These new Stage 2 Pokémon ex cards feature modern gameplay design, beautiful holographic effects, and serious competitive potential.

When knocked out, Mega ex Pokémon give up 3 prize cards, offering high-stakes gameplay for seasoned Trainers.

Mega Brave Booster Box

The Premium Trainer Box MEGA described here is the Japanese version of this comprehensive set. For players seeking the full MEGA experience, this box includes:

• 10 packs of Mega Brave booster packs

• 10 packs of Mega Symphonia booster packs

• A total of 172 cards (51 unique types), including Pokémon, Trainer cards, Special Energy, and Basic Energy
